I know it has been a year since my last post so don't get too excited! We are doing fine and very ready for summer! I have posted a few pictures of the kids from Easter and Nathan's graduation from 4K. He will stay at his preschool one more year and begin kindergarten next fall. I can't believe my baby boy is so big! Camille is 19 months old and talking all the time. She is very independent and wants to do everything Nathan does. They are really cute together.

Back Home
This past weekend we went to my hometown of Maxeys, GA. It was so nice to go home and spend time with my parents and my brother and his family. Our kids are about the same age and we loved watching them play together.
I totally swiped these pictures from my SIL Jillina's blog. She is a photographer so naturally they are better than what I could take. :)

Snow and other stuff
Yes, I have been the blogging slacker. I never seem to make time for this as so many things are higher up on the priority list! I will try to do better. Spring Break is next week which means summer is almost here! Nine more weeks which means only nine more Mondays. I can do this!
A couple of weeks ago, Nathan got to experience his first real snow. It was so much fun! We made a snowman, named Frosty, of course and Nathan had a ball. Camille went outside long enough to have her picture made and she was done.
Last weekend my parents were here for baby dedication. My dad prayed over Nathan three years ago and we wanted him to pray over Camille too. I wasn't sure how Nathan would do on stage, but he did great. It was so funny when he saw himself on the tv at the bottom of the stage! He just smiled really big and never made a sound. I was so proud of him! Camille just looked around. Thanks Dad for leading a great prayer!
Camille is six months old! Where has the time gone? I can't believe she is 1/2 a year old. She is doing well and smiles and laughs a lot. I love it how excited she gets when I pick her up from school. It is the sweetest thing! She is rolling over and playing with her toes. She's not interested in sitting up or eating off a spoon, but loves to entertain herself.
Nathan looks so excited here. This is just before he proceeded to get up from the chair before telling anyone! Thankfully mom was paying attention and we avoided a major accident.

Back to work
It's been a while since my last post, but going back to work has been more challenging than I thought. Leaving my two precious children is difficult even though I know they are cared for during the day. Once we all get home it's family time until bed time for them, 7:00 for Camille and 8:00 for Nathan. Then it's time for the nightly chores of getting ready for it start all over again. Washing dishes, bottles, getting lunch ready for the next day and doing any prep work for dinner the next night so I can spend more time with the kids when I get home instead of being in the kitchen. All that to say, the blog has taken a back seat. Camille turned four months old three weeks ago and I didn't even post a picture!
And did I mention a squirrel fell into our chimney...again. One died a couple of years ago and it was AWFUL! Phil and I built a trap (see below) but he must have been asleep when we opened the flume because nothing happened. We thought maybe he died. Great. Phil came home the next day and found the full grown squirrel sitting on the back of our couch!!! Really? A squirrel in the house? Thank goodness I wasn't the one who stumbled on him with two kiddos! Thankfully Phil captured him in the bathroom after a two plus hour square off. We don't think he had been in here for long because so far we haven't found anything chewed up or scratched. There were crooked picture frames on the wall and a little poop on the floor, but all in all, I think we got off fairly well. Ashely, I don't think he was anything like stormy. :)
We are doing well and Camille is growing up so fast. She is rolling over and squeals all the time. Nathan loves her so much and is constantly loving on her and making sure she has her lovey and paci. He tells me he can't wait for her to get bigger so she can play with his toys, but we all know what will happen she does get bigger and bigger. :)
It's not letting me post pictures for some reason so the squirrel trap picture will have to wait.

Happy New Year
I hope everyone had a great Christmas and the new year is off to a wonderful beginning. The weekend before Christmas we went to Tennessee to spend time with Phil's family. His mom's side of the family got together for a dinner and then we went back to his parent's house so the grandchildren could exchange gifts. It was a great time and I'm glad we were able to celebrate with them. We were at our house Christmas eve and Christmas morning. I don't mind travelling, but always want to be home Christmas morning. Nathan and Camille really seemed to enjoy their gifts. Nathan was so excited that Santa ate the milk and cookies and absolutely loved his excavator!

Friday we headed to GA to see my parents. My brother and his family were there too, which was great because we were able to meet their newest addition Andrew. Phil and I are so blessed to have wonderful families in which to share the holidays. Travelling is hard, but it is so nice to spend time with our family. Needless to say we will be home for a while. Hope you all have a very Happy New Year!!
